Group Violin for Beginners
Making music with your family, friends, neighbors and colleagues is the beginning of a life-long bond of collaboration and compassion. This class is specifically designed for the true beginner – although those who have taken a long hiatus from previous studies might like to join too.
Class ID # 420
In this first class participants will focus on note reading and basic violin technique including posture and correct bow and finger placement. Music is provided to enable each student the opportunity to play as an ensemble member and also develop his or her soloistic capacity.
Beyond Level I
Class ID # 421
In this class, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the instrument by honing and expanding the technical facility that they gained in level one. Half of the class will be dedicated to furthering their skills and the balance will be spent learning level appropriate repertoire.
