Villa Musica is a non-profit organization that depends on the support of generous people like you. Twice a year we hold fundraising campaigns that enable us to provide quality music education in “Communities of Promise”; communities where access to these opportunities is limited. Last year we planted our first Tree of Promise, and its bare leaves inspired many of you to respond to our request for support.
This year we have planted an even more beautiful tree, right here at Villa Musica. By adding “apples” and “songbirds” to its branches you will help us to continue to fulfill our mission – to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to explore the joy and lifelong value of music through education,
performance and community engagement.
Right now, Villa Musica offers private instruction, group lessons, and ensemble participation on a weekly basis to more than 1200 musicians across San Diego – some picking up an instrument for the first time, some honing
their skills, others just having fun. We are especially proud of our community programs in schools, senior centers, and at our satellite sites in Logan Heights and Valencia Park. And now a new seed is being planted at MCAS Miramar, where we hope to establish our third satellite site this spring. All of our work has one goal – to help San Diegans nurture their talent and passion and, like our Tree of Promise, blossom.
To do this we need your help. You can choose to add an apple ($25-$100) or a bird ($200-$1000) or give at any level you like. Your tax-deductible donation will strengthen our Tree of Promise, and you will be making a real difference in the lives of the many people who come to us to experience the joy of making music.
