Gill is an enthusiastic piano player and instructor. She started learning piano when she was five years old. In 2006, she got her bachelor’s degree in piano performance at National Hsinchu University of Education. In order to pursue a higher level of teaching skills and musical knowledge, she accomplished receiving her master’s degree in music education at University of Taipei. After teaching for 10 years with international students in Taiwan, Gill decided to come to University of California San Diego to obtain a single subject teaching credential in music.

Currently, Gill is a member of Music Teachers’ Association of California, and has been assisting students on their Certificate of Merit, music festivals, and competitions for years. She uses different methodologies, such as Orff, Kodaly, Suzuki, and Dalcroze, to improve students’ ability and interest in music. She enjoys teaching and growing with them!
