Villa Musica Chamber Players – Call for Scores

Villa Musica inspires people of all ages and backgrounds to explore the joy and lifelong value of music through education, performance and community engagement. Founded as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation in 2005, Villa Musica is a vibrant gathering place where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to take music lessons, play in an ensemble, or participate in a workshop. Villa Musica’s goal is to create a focal point for community music education in San Diego, which is why we’re excited to launch our first ever ‘Call for Scores’!

This ‘Call for Scores’ also introduces the Villa Musica Chamber Players to the world of New Music. Founded in 2021 with the intention of guaranteeing performance opportunities for our local musicians, VMCP is a flexible instrumentation ensemble unique in its talent and passion for performance. Led by conductor James Beauton, the Villa Musica Chamber Players will certainly bring our selected scores to life.
