Alexandra Gerritsen is a graduate of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business for her undergraduate degree in Marketing and International Business. She then attended the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business where she earned her MBA. Alexandra has worked in both Operations and Technology for over 15 years for companies that were publicly traded, privately owned, and private equity owned in San Diego. She most recently holds an executive leadership position at Artemis Institute for Clinical Research where she is responsible for all company operations, technology, and sales. Prior to that, she held an executive leadership position at Cali Bamboo where she was responsible for the technology and customer experience strategies at one of the fast growing companies in the United States. In 2019, Alexandra was the honoree of San Diego Business Journal’s Top Technology Executive; she currently serves on the judging panel for this prestigious award.
She brings to the Villa Musica Board a wealth of technology, operations, and sales best practices. As a typical operator, Alexandra has the ability to execute on strategies and build in operational excellence to the organization. In her personal time, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her husband and her for rescue dogs doing a multitude of outdoor activities in Carlsbad. She also enjoys traveling and spending time at new restaurants that have popped up on the San Diego foodie scene.
