Music technologist Isaac Munoz traveled throughout Latin America building musical instruments as a Watson Fellow. Isaac received an electrical engineering B.S. degree from the California Institute of Technology and completed his PhD. in computer music at UCSD. As a senior engineer at Qualcomm, Isaac is currently researching the next generation of audio technologies.
Before joining Villa Musica, Isaac was an audio engineer for live concerts at UCSD and a percussionist for a local jazz-fusion band. Isaac has experience recording and mixing in Pro Tools, Reaper and Logic. For live performances he uses Ableton Live in combination with Ableton Push and his own hand-built electroacoustic drums.
