Description

Chase Pado is a pianist, composer, and educator with a passion for all styles of music. His creative journey began on the piano when he was four years old and his formative years were shaped by the works of Beethoven and Elton John. Chase received his classical piano performance certification from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in 2012 followed by a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego in 2015. He was also awarded The Cheatham Prize in recognition of his outstanding jazz piano performance.
Chase’s enthusiasm for music compounds through connection and experience. As an accompanist, he has worked with schools, theaters, and churches to deliver memorable programs, including several years of Villa Musica’s Project Cabaret. As a performer, he continues to craft the art of improvisation, building on the rich musical history of jazz, blues, and folk genres. Chase also enjoys traveling, hiking, and sharing his musings of music with students and friends.
