In the Spring of 2017, Villa Musica opened its second satellite site at the Malcolm X Library in Valencia Park, which is primarily a residential area with a mix of single-family homes and apartments. The neighborhood is known for its diversity, with a mix of African American, Latino, and Asian residents. Valencia Park is known as welcoming neighborhood with a strong sense of community.

Classes are designed in conference with library staff, participants, and their families to enhance this neighborhood’s passion for music.

Spring Quarter:

Classes run for 10 weeks:
Quarter starts the week of Monday 3/4
Quarter Ends on Sunday 5/19
~No Class for 1 week, Spring Break 3/31 – 4/6~
Recital Sunday Afternoon 5/19

Violin Dolce (Beginner) (ages 5 – 7), 10 – 10:30am
Violin Scherzo (Intermediate) (ages vary), 10:30 – 11:15am
Violin Brillante (Advanced) (ages vary), 11:15am – 12pm
Guitar Dolce (Beginner) (ages 7 – 12), 2 – 2:45pm
Guitar Scherzo (Intermediate) (ages 7 – 12), 2:45 – 3:30pm
