Camps at Villa Musica give young musicians an intimate, nurturing and exploratory environment to either discover their musical self or hone skills already developing. Our camps accept a maximum of 12 participants, providing the perfect environment for the developing musician.

Each camp runs from 9-3:30pm over ONE week at our Sorrento Valley Campus. Early drop off (8:30am) and late pick up (up to 5:30pm) can be accommodated for a fee of $10 per hour. Details of each camp can be found in the links below.

For 2021, special social distancing protocols will still be in place and many activities will be held outside under Villa Musica’s 20×40 tent in the rear of the building. Some activities will be take place inside, in the 975 sq ft recital hall. Masks will be worn at all times, except during snack breaks and lunch outside.

Meet Your Summer Camp Coordinator!

We are currently looking for someone to fill the role of Summer Camp Coordinator for 2022! This is a paid internship that will best suit someone currently enrolled in a music education degree program. As the Summer Camp Coordinator, you will get the chance to teach music, facilitate the camp’s class schedule, and liaise with parents, teaching artists, and administrators to provide a meaningful camp experience in a safe and stimulating environment of musical learning. Appropriate COVID-19 precautions will be taken as mandated by local government.

Commitment: 35-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, July 19th-August 13th, 2021
Hourly Rate: $14-$16/hr (commensurate with experience)
