In the Spring of 2020 (yes, during the depths of a pandemic), Villa Musica opened its third satellite site at the College-Rolando Library. The neighborhood is named after the College-Rolando branch of the San Diego Electric Railway, which operated from 1924 to 1949. Today, the area is primarily residential, with a mix of single-family homes, apartments, and condominiums. College Rolando is home to San Diego State University, which is located just to the west of the neighborhood. The university is home to over 35,000 students and is a major contributor to the diversity and vibrancy of this community.

Classes are designed in conference with library staff, participants, and their families to enhance this neighborhood’s passion for music.
If you’re interested in joining one of the group classes at the College-Rolando library, please take a moment to register via the form below.
