Villa Musica Chamber Players (VMCP)

Villa Musica is thrilled to announce the return of our newest ensemble – the Villa Musica Chamber Players. This group of musicians comprises students, professionals, and amateurs from operating rooms, classrooms, offices, and all walks of life. The love for chamber music in San Diego is alive and well in people’s homes, so we’re combining forces to share our love with our community, YOU!

VMCP is unique in its approach, staying nimble with small numbers, we aim to showcase the dedication of a small few, venturing from parking lots to church pews. New in this 2023 concert series, we are featuring our very own VM faculty members as soloists in concertos and art pieces alike, ranging from classics by Tchaikovsky, to home bred American composer Barber and more.

If you are interested in playing in one or all of the concerts below, please reach out to VMCP’s Director and Conductor Diego Guerra (vmcp@villamusica.org) to arrange an audition. You will not need to audition if you have previously been a member of the Villa Musica Summer Orchestra. Either way, please take a look at the proposed program for each session and register below.

We look forward to making music with you!
