Susan Clausen of Clausen Communications is an Independent Public Relations Professional. With a 20 year history in San Diego in non-profit Public Relations and Communications, her focus is working with organizations in advancing and messaging their missions and increasing special event and production attendance. Susan works with clients in areas ranging from strategic planning to grassroots outreach and media relations. She finds the heart of her clients’ mission – and shares that throughout the community via press relations and community outreach.
In addition to Villa Musica, Susan handles PR for The San Diego International Film Festival, Inclusion Films, Trinity Theatre Company, Scripps Ranch Theatre, and Write Out Loud. Susan also teaches individuals on the autism spectrum via Joey Travolta’s Inclusion Films and Unscripted Learning’s Connections program. Also an actor, Susan regularly performs in plays, film, and voice-overs.
