Sergio Trillo is a classically trained guitarist from Spain with over a decade of international
experience as a music educator and performer. Holding three master’s degrees, including
specializations in Classical Guitar Performance and Secondary Education—he brings a
profound depth of knowledge and a global perspective to every lesson.
As a performer, Sergio has won numerous first prizes at prestigious international
competitions, including the Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga and Claudio Prieto competitions.
While rooted in classical excellence, their musical expertise spans flamenco, rock, reggae,
and mariachi. He loves introducing students to the rich influence of music across different
cultures. Rated “Excellent” for student growth for consecutive years, Sergio is passionate
about developing innovative, personalized teaching styles that help students of all
backgrounds and skill levels find their unique musical voice.
