Description
Adrian Holtz is a bassist, guitarist, composer, and SDSU graduate with a degree in double bass performance. They can be found performing around San Diego with local pick-up and community orchestras, various jazz ensembles, and rock bands. Through their varied interests, Adrian is able to connect with musicians and students from differing backgrounds.
Adrian’s passion for teaching took root while they were a student. Throughout school and festival orchestras they always found themselves helping to coach and teach their bass playing peers who sought out extra assistance. Their professional teaching experience is largely private students on guitar and bass in classical, jazz, and rock styles. Their approach to teaching gives students the tools to overcome musical challenges and to practice effectively.
