How does music influence your life: I am now a professional opera singer. I just couldn’t stop singing!
Today, I worked my day job in HR and then went to staging rehearsals in the evening for an opera in which I am singing a lead role. I am grateful for my dual careers; juggling a job that pays the bills and performing that fills the soul is a reality for so many musicians in the US.
Fiona’s Memories of Theresa: Theresa was such a great student. She was super involved with her school’s choral program (Poway High School) and this made my job super easy AND a bit tricky. She was an amazing sight singer, and learned repertoire quickly but we had to work super hard on finding her SOLO sound. Choral singers are just so good at blending. It looks like you found that solo sound Theresa!!! Congratulations. You deserve EVERY success.
