Project Cabaret
It’s back! Project Cabaret is an annual Spring program that gathers together a small cast of adults to create, rehearse and perform their very own Cabaret Show. Each year this project culminates in a two performance “run” at Villa Musica’s Chisholm-Chait Recital Hall. The hall is transformed, complete with cabaret seating, wine and cheese and wonderful decorations, and a small trio (piano, bass and drums) is assembled to accompany as the cast strut their stuff for an audience of family and friends.
This program is appropriate for adult singers at all levels with a penchant for solo performance and the willingness to take their singing to the “next level.”
CLASS PARTICIPATION SUBJECT TO AUDITION
When: Sundays 4 – 6pm
Number of Participants: min. 6, max. 10
Course Fee: $385 (13 weeks) – PLEASE NOTE: this class is reduced to 13 weeks, beginning on week 3 of the Spring Semester.
Director: Elly Roseberry
Rehearsals begin February 27. Auditions will take place during the first hour of rehearsal on February 27.
No rehearsal on April 3.
Shows: Friday 6/3/2022 & Saturday 6/4/2022
