June is the month that we run our end of fiscal year campaign. It is important for non-profits to strive to finish “in the black” and we are no different. Our Come Together Campaign is dedicated to raising money, yes, but more importantly it is designed to raise awareness around our NON PROFIT STATUS. Did you know that Villa Musica is a 501c3 non profit corporation? That means we raise funds to support all kinds of programming that help people participate in our programs who might not otherwise be able to afford it. These are a few examples of what we raise money for:
Financial Aid
Free programs for seniors living with Alzheimer’s Disease
Free recitals/classes for seniors living in low income communities
Free programs for children and adults in low-income neighborhoods
Instruments for our free programs
So what is our goal, you ask?
Our goal is to raise 501 donors.
Yep. Not dollars… donors.
So next time you’re in the lobby, make a donation (of any size) and write your name on the list on the wall.
