An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Saturday, repeating until June 2, 2018
The Villa Musica Classical Guitar Ensemble for Kids Prep Program is designed to offer our youngest classical guitarists, between the ages of 8 and 10, the opportunity to play ensemble repertoire with other like-minded students. Participants will learn to play duets, trios, quartets and large group pieces together as a compliment to their private lessons. Benefits of ensemble playing are improved rhythm, diversification of repertoire and enhanced social skills in practiced listening and sharing of ideas. Participants in this program will work toward a recital at the end of each session for family and friends.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Classical Guitar (nylon string)
Footstool (or Ergoplay)
Tuner
REQUIREMENTS:
Participants must be able to read music in first position (Music Development Program Prep Level or equivalent)
