An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until November 15, 2023
Villa Musica’s Orchestra Neos is for beginning string players with a year or two of experience on their instrument. Come play in an ensemble with other kids and learn new music in a fun and supportive environment! In this program, students will build on fundamentals of music reading and develop new skills while learning what playing in an ensemble is all about. Students will work toward a concert for family and friends at the end of each quarter. Violins, violas, cellos, and basses welcome!
When: Wednesdays, 5 – 5:45pm
First Class: September 13th, 2023
Fall End-of-Quarter Recital: November 19th, 2:30pm at City Heights Library
Who: Students with 1 – 2 years of strings experience
Number of participants: 12 maximum
Course Fee: $200 (10 weeks)
