Villa Musica Summer Camps (Ages 5 – 12)

Villa Musica Summer Camps for young and aspiring musicians provide a nurturing and exploratory environment for musical growth. Camps are tailored by mixing the classic Summer Camp fun with independent learning and musical expertise.

Full day camps run from 9am – 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Early drop off is available with reservation (8:30am) and late pick up (up to 5pm) can be accommodated for a fee of $10 per hour. Please communicate your pick up needs in your registration. Every camp culminates with a recital on Friday at 3:00pm.

Important Forms

Please fill out these forms before your camper’s first day with us. We want to know of any allergies they have, their emergency contact, and also if we can snap some goofy photos of them having fun at camp!

Cancelation and Refund Policy

Camp tuition is due within two weeks of registration in order to hold your child’s spot in the camp.

Tuition is refundable until 10 days before the camp starts. Our Annual Registration Fee ($30) is not refundable. After this deadline, camp tuition is no longer refundable, but you can switch camp sessions pending availability. If no spaces are available, tuition will be transferred to a credit on your account, which can be used for future camp and class enrollments. Please reach out to our front desk staff with any requests to cancel: admin@villamusica.org

Meet Your Camp Coordinator – Nicole Olsson

Teaching is Nicole’s favorite part of the week. She has a personal connection to the El Sistema style of education, growing up in a community model of that ideology as a young musician. Striving to strengthen musical, creative, and community development with all of her students, Nicole makes sure that every student’s goals and preferences are met with understanding. As a recipient of the Alice Saunders Teaching Award, Nicole has studied violin pedagogy with Sherry Kloss at the Jascha Heifetz Symposium, and furthered her violin performance studies with Dr. Pei Chun Tsai at San Diego State University. She has also been the student grant writer for the Campanile Music Festival with Dr. Tsai since 2019.
