Music Adventures Little Maestros 8/03 – 8/07
Little Maestros Music Adventures Camp is perfect for young students who don’t yet take music lessons. Daily classes are designed to introduce campers to the world of classical music through engaging activities that explore rhythm, movement, and beginner note-reading using the recorder, violin and piano to practice. Campers will explore the details of famous classical styles and sounds while building a strong foundation in the skills that all classical musicians use!
Children will also create their own instruments and use found objects to make music while speaking and/or singing, encouraging creativity and self-expression. “Instrument petting zoos” will be incorporated for hands-on musical discovery, giving campers the opportunity to explore a variety of classical instruments and feel like true maestros as they begin their musical journey!
