Group Guitar for Kids provides participants with an excellent introduction to the fundamentals of guitar playing. This class is designed to introduce the basics of good technique, chord structure and music reading through the playing of simple songs and the development of effective practice methods. This class is a great opportunity for those who would like to learn guitar in a group setting before making a commitment to private instruction.
Pre-requisites: There is no pre-requisite for this class
When: Thursdays 3:00-3:45pm
Where: Science Lab on campus at Christ Church Day School
Who: Grades 3-6 – must have own instrument*
Course Fee: $210 (10 weeks) – includes $20 “Guitar Play” Bk I OR II by Jude Weirmeir

THIS IS A QUARTER BASED CLASS – QUARTER DATES
*Students in the class should purchase a nylon-string classical guitar.
Instruments are available for purchase through Villa Musica.
Guitar Packages range in price from $135-$175 [depending on size] and include guitar, gig bag, footstool, and tuner.
