Group Guitar & Ukulele (At-Your-School)

Description

Group Guitar & Ukulele

Students will work towards proficiency on the guitar or ukulele while obtaining an understanding of the fundamentals of technique and musicianship. They will learn to read sheet music, tablature, and implement chord changes. Interactive classes give students the opportunity for individual attention, while providing an environment for collaboration with other musicians their own age in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere. By the end of the class, they will be able to sight-read simple melodies, perform solos and duets, recognize basic chord symbols and read chord diagrams, read basic rhythms, and strum patterns. This programs empowers students to seek out music to learn and perform on their own, even after graduating from this class.
