Hannah Baron is a recent graduate of the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music where she graduated with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education and teaching credential in music. Hannah began her cello studies at the age of 12 through Roosevelt Middle School in downtown San Diego and has since studied with Sophie Webber, Horacio Contreras, Roza Borislova, and Yao Zhao. While in college she was involved with the Improvisational Group of Lawrence University (IGLU), the Lawrence Symphony Orchestra, ska bands, as well as contemporary and classical chamber groups.
Beyond private cello lessons, Hannah also has experience teaching general music and strings in the public school settings in both Wisconsin and California. Her philosophy when teaching any kind of music is that music is for everyone and that it needs to be accessible to everyone.
