Mitchum Todd – Facilitator

Description

Todd’s career includes being an artist-in-residence for eight years with the California Center for the Arts in Escondido following a ten-year association with the New York based Lincoln Center Institute of Arts Education. As a 1999-2000 recipient of a Fulbright Hays Scholarship, he toured the continent of India, documenting dance and puppetry’s role in education. As a Physical Theater Artist, he has worked with concert dance troupes; Alvin Ailey with Hamburg Ballet, Clive Thompson Dance Company, Ze’eva Cohen and Dancers, Anna Sokolow, Pearl Lang Dance Company, Bill T. Jones & Arnie Zane, Jean Isaacs, and Kathryn Scheidegger. He holds two certifications, one with Minding Motion for Graceful Aging and a Horton Pedagogy Certification from the Alvin Ailey School in New York. Currently he choreographs for San Diego Dance Theater Aging Creatively program and the Visionary Dance Theater, located in La Mesa, CA.
