Music Adventures Super Stars 6/01 – 6/05
This fun Pop Music Adventures Camp is perfect for young students who don’t yet take music lessons. Daily classes use popular music styles to introduce campers to new musical ideas. They will engage in activities focused on rhythm, movement, and beginner note-reading, all while relating what they learn to the music they hear around them everyday! Campers will explore how pop songs are composed while singing, clapping, and creating their own music!
Kids will also make instruments and use found objects to create their own pop-inspired sounds while speaking and/or singing. Creative expression and collaboration are encouraged through fun group activities and mini jam sessions. Instrument “petting zoos” will be included for hands-on musical discovery, giving campers the chance to explore a variety of instruments and find their own pop star sound!
