Description
Super Orchestra Néos II: Turbo
Villa Musica’s Super Orchestra Neos II: Turbo is for string players with several years of experience on their instrument. Students in this group must have adequate music-reading skills and a solid technical foundation on their instrument (midway through Suzuki Book 2/Essential Elements 2, or the equivalent).
In this program, students will continue to gain experience playing with a group. They will refine their listening skills and learn more about the subtleties of ensemble artistry while working on more challenging and diverse repertoire. This ensemble will offer a supportive social environment of peers who are dedicated to advancing their own technique and musicianship. Students will work toward a concert for family and friends at the end of each quarter!
When: Wednesdays, 6 – 7pm
First Class: March 6th, 2024 (Spring Quarter)
Who: Students with 1 – 2 years of strings experience
Number of participants: 12 maximum
Course Fee: $225 (10 weeks)
