Struggling Strings
Join us on Tuesday evenings to dust off your string chops, with Villa Musica’s newest performance ensemble for adult players (violin, viola, cello, bass)
This group is intended for participants at the beginning/intermediate level, who want to play music in a casual group setting.
Participation in culminating recitals may be an option, but only by majority consensus.
When: Tuesdays, 8:00 – 9:00 PM
Class Dates: April 14th – June 9th (9 weeks)
Number of Participants: 8 minimum
Course Fee: $225
Instructor: Andre Beller
Requirements:
Basic technical proficiency on your instrument: be able to easily play a simple melody like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and be able to, with some practice, play something a bit more difficult, like a Bach Minuet
Reading skills: be able to read music notation consisting of quarter notes, eighth notes, and a few sharps, naturals, and flats.
