Tara Graviss White received her M.A. in Expressive Arts Therapy in 2016 from the Expressive Arts Institute San Diego and the European Graduate School. As a visual artist and poet she has over 20 years of experience using the arts as a healing modality in San Diego and around the world. Tara has worked with a wide range of participants from multiple backgrounds.

Tara has been involved in non-profit arts education for more than 17 years in greater San Diego. Her direct style of communication and goal-oriented focus serves her well in highlighting the value of the arts in creating a well rounded community.

She has served on a variety of Boards & Committees in San Diego and in the State of California for the last 20 years.

A life-long devotion to the arts and education combined with a proven background in business make her a dedicated advocate for the arts. Tara is a proactive leader with a collaborative approach and a balanced viewpoint for real world solutions.

Outside of her time at Villa Musica, Tara can often be found in her studio or lost behind her camera lens, blending her love of art, travel & nature as she introduces others to the reflective healing properties of art.
