Group Ukulele for Kids (ages 9 – 12) (Summer)
Ukulele for Kids combines techniques for learning the basics of strumming chords and easy fingerpicking. Students in this class will learn a mix of ukulele classics from blues, folk to contemporary pop. The class requires no previous musical experience, but an openness to learning a bit of basic notation, and the willingness to vocalize as needed to help keep your place in the music. We welcome student requests as well: let us know your favorite song or artist when you register.
Pre-requisites: There is no pre-requisite for this class
When: Wednesdays, 12:50 – 1:35pm
Summer Session: July 12th – August 16, 2023
Who: Children ages 9 – 12 years (must have own instrument)
Number of Participants: 4 – 8 students
Course Fee: $130 (6 weeks)
