Fangye Sun, D.M.A., an accomplished classical violinist and dedicated educator, has showcased his talent worldwide, performing as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral artist across Asia, North America, and Europe.
Mentored by renowned musicians including Eugene Purdue, Lynn Chang, Young-Nam Kim, Robert Bokor, and Wen-ning Guan, Dr. Sun has also collaborated with leading artists such as Katie Lansdale, Kristopher Tong, Kurt Sassmannshaus, Joseph Genualdi, Joseph Swensen, Parry Karp, Lydia Artymiw, and the Lydian String Quartet.
With over 30 years of performance and 15 years of teaching experience, Dr. Sun inspires students of all levels, guiding them toward musical success. His students have achieved remarkable accomplishments, from prestigious music school admissions to orchestral placements and competition wins.
Dr. Sun’s distinguished academic background includes degrees from the Tianjin Conservatory of Music (Bachelor of Music, Master of Music), Boston Conservatory (Graduate Performance Diploma), and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Doctor of Musical Arts).
